Inchree is located at the north end of Onich village, exactly midway between Fort William / Ben Nevis & Glencoe.

It is easy to find, being just 300 metres off the A82 trunk road.

We are in a rural location, and so in order to get the most from your stay we recommend coming by car.

Getting to our place, BY CAR;

  • If driving from south: (from Glencoe) Drive all the way through Onich village, coming out of the 40mph speed restriction zone. Continue north through a series of bends and then turn right off the A82 at the start of a long straight. (Inchree is signposted here off A82) If you get to the Corran Ferry junction (a car ferry that crosses Loch Linnhe) then you've driven too far northward. Turn around and drive back to Inchree turning.

  • If driving from north: (from Fort William) Inchree is located 8 miles south of Fort William, and 500 metres south of the Corran Ferry junction. Turn left off the A82 at the end of a long straight. (Inchree is signposted here off A82) If you get to Onich village sign/ 40 mph speed zone, then you've gone too far south. Turn around and drive back to Inchree turning.

  • After turning off the A82 at Inchree: Drive up the narrow lane for 200 metres, past some houses. (Please go slow as there are often pedestrians & cats on the lane) Our sign-posted entrance is on a right-hand bend in the lane.

  • If coming from further south, or Glasgow / Edinburgh, you will need to use the Citylink service. (National carrier)

  • Timetable info here - download the Glasgow / Skye timetable.

  • The bus-stop you need to get off at is Corran Ferry on the timetable. (Don't get off at Onich stop, which is 1.5 miles south)

  • After getting off at Corran Ferry bus-stop, walk south (not in Fort William direction) on the pavement by the A82 road.

  • Walk south for approx. 150 metres until you get to a left-curving bend. (There is another, local bus-stop on this corner.) Cross the A82 to the other side at this corner. (Being careful as it is a blind bend for traffic)

  • Now walk along the track for 200 metres, past a pub-restaurant called 'RoamWest', Just after RoamWest you will see our white reception building with 'Inchree Chalets' sign.

  • Nearest train station is in Fort William, 8 miles to the north. Timetable info here (Scotrail)

  • To get to Inchree from the station, you will either need to take a taxi (fare approx. £15) or a bus.

  • There are 2 bus services locally:

  • Citylink service. (National carrier) See above for timetable info.

  • Sheil Buses. (Local service) Timetable info here.

  • If coming by bus from Fort William direction, (north) get off at Corran Ferry stop on southbound carriageway of A82. Directions from there as above.
